On Monday 26th of May, Grade's 2/3/4C, 2/3/4N & 3/4/5BÂ caught the train from Lilydale into the city to visit the Old Melbourne Gaol and the State Library of Victoria. Taking in Flagstaff Gardens along the way. The trip featured talks from the Old Melbourne Gaol staff and State Library tour guides. Of particular interest were Ned Kelly's armour and various "death masks". Apparently there were some very tired people by the time the train pulled back into Lilydale, but a good time was had by all.
