Grades P/1 children made clay echidnas and platypus puppets as their final work on "Australia". Grade 2/3/4 are working on paper maché "Bushranger" masks and Grades 5/6 are undertaking construction activities using wood, clay and 3D media to make something typically Australian |

In P.E. senior classes are continuing to work through skills, rules and strategies involved with the Interschool Winter Sports Program. So far we have covered T-ball, netball and soccer with football and volleystars yet to be taken. Junior grades are focussing on ball control and are involved in a number of activities such as rolling, dribbling (with feet or a bat), catching and throwing. Soon we will practise kicking a stationary and moving ball. In the next week or two we are also hoping for Grade P/1 children to visit "Yarra View" retirement village at Warburton to demonstrate dancing the "Macarena" and "Nutbush" as well as massage techniques. |
